Today, BBGDev is 2 years old. Congrats, BBGDev.
As present, I switched it to new server yesterday, and arranged new design.
We have gone to web 2.0 now, not old gaming fashion.

I wanted to tell you only that if anything does not work now as expected, demo for DD, download or poll or similar, I apologize, but it will be up & running soon. Migration is exhausting job, I migrate stuff often, few days are needed to complete every time.

So, expect from me a new category: Browser games review in next several days, where I’ll be reviewing browser games, and expect browser game demos soon. Working in SSH now is far more easier than in cPanel.

Also, GameAdverts are still running, for all of you who wish to promote your games. Besides, HOZ has started seriously, you’ll learn about that soon. And yes, Infinite RPG also.

Cheers, folks.

P.S.
For those of you who are wondering, why Angel chick in header?
I like fantasy pictures, and I like chicks. I’m quite sure most of you understand that

Hello all;

We’ve been working hard for past several days, creating DB models and PHP logic for our announced game advertising network. Well, we call it game advertising network, but, as you already might know, it will support different kind of sites, if they’re related to gaming. Such as gaming communities, blogs, arcade sites and in first place – browser games.

To sum up in short what we’ve done so far:
After only 10 days of development:

JS ads invocation system is up & running, rotating banners as we planned

Credit per page view is given to users once network ad is shown, also one credit per view is deducted from your balance once your ad is shown in network

Detailed log and security measures have been finished

Interface & GUI templates are done

Site front is done, with several sub pages explaining everything you’d need to know about network

Registration with welcome mail and activation is done

What we need to do until we go “live” is;

Login system

Banner management view

Stats view

Our estimation is that by this weekend, we could go live. And, if no surprises – we will.

Currently, we’re performing series of testing, such as load and stress tests.

We support few ad sizes for start – common ones, such as standard 468×60 banner, and rectangle banner (300×250) and vertical ones (120×600) plus 125×125 as smallest banner.
I just wanted to let you know we’re pumping this project at max speed, taking in consideration everything that comes on our minds. In few days from now, we’ll sure be live, so, if you’re game owner or any gaming related website owner, feel free drop by in several days time, or recommend this to anyone you might know.

Regards,
Romano

Hello;
I never did any monetizing on this site since I run it out of personal reasons, but lately I am looking for a ways to pay out for hosting monthly.
I don’t like too many ads on a website, nor can I create any donation forms, due to lack of payment gateways supported in my county.

Many of you, having website, blog or similar, are also in one or another form of mission to pay at least hosting, and/or earn something for your efforts.
In such mission for myself, I found something you all may use:

PerfectTracking Surveys

So, how can you monetize your browser game or gaming website?

You can use their system to gain money and not to charge directly from your users, which moves away burden of payment from them.
They do have special package for MMORPG games, and you can find more details by clicking here.

I must say, I was quite impressed with PerfectTracking sinc, as it seems, they pay a lot, and this way of supporting a website is quite good.
I installed this myself, you can try it by clicking here. Try it out.

For more details register to PerfectTracking and try out this nice system. What can you loose?

Hi all;

I am very happy to be able to tell you a bit more today about upcoming network we’re building in BBGDev labs here
It’s basically second best idea I had in years now.
In previous post InGame Ads project start, I made basic intro in this game advertising network.

Further, today I’d like to write a bit about features we covered.
Since, we had few days of very enthusiastic development, based on OOP principles, we succeeded with making few views already, and a basic invocation codes engine.

So; how can this help you exactly?

First of all, it’s FREE games advertising network. I said that before, I just think it’s awesome. Back in days 2006 when I made RPG’s for Croatian gamers, I’d sure would had love to have something like this. Also, it does not only include Browser based games. It can be gaming blog, or gaming community site, portal of forum. Or even arcade site, if we don’t conclude otherwise in future.

Secondly, up to 10:10 ratio for ads display.

Third – I’ll be running 300×250 ads and 730×90 ads surely here on BBGDev and another portal, thus giving 50.000 pageviews per month to you for start. If you take 2% average CTR in consideration, that’s 1.000 visitors per month, and they could be going to your website. All of you may benefit from traffic until our network gets bigger solely from my own visits.

Furthermore, 4th good thing:
You will be able to run multiple websites under 1 account. Think of it as using third party service for banner exchange, plus, every site gets exposure.

5th good thing (this one I like most):
ONLY good quality targeted traffic. Imagine: Game owners will run their ads on gaming blogs, and gaming news portals or boards, communities. And all those sites can run their ads in games, where gamers also are. Basically, everybody can make something positive out of it.

6th good thing:
You’re not obligated to anything. You can use your (for example) 20.000 pageviews daily to promote your web and if you don’t like results you can easily deactivate campaign. On the other hand, if you do have good and quality site, why not just promote it additionally? I’m sure many of you have premium packages waiting for fresh players.

Basically, it is something you should not resist to try. By using your free ad slots and gaining traffic you sure can’t do wrong.

7th good thing:
We should have it up & running in several days. I’ll keep you updated.
Make sure you come by in a week time

If there are any of you who would like to find out more or reserve sign up for network immediately, contact me directly ad romano.zagorscak [at] gmail.com.
Cheers, folks.
Keep tuned in.

I am happy to announce to you all that InGame Ad Network project has started with development.
I wont go much public yet since we created only interface for JS invocation code. So, basically, currently we can only show ads via JS file, much like one you get with AdSense, for example.
Some work to do is ahead of us.
Still, since we only worked like 2 days on script so far, I must say it seems easy from developers point of view, so we won’t have much surprises along the way.

And, yes, you saw “WE” part.

I actually got my dear friend involved, and as he is great programmer (we cooperate on other project aswell), things with 2 men power now should be fairly quick
And so far, we’re motivated.

So, what is exactly inGame Ad Network?
It’s a service which we will open for everyone who wishes to join. And benefit. For start – it’s free. I haven’t prepared any special screenshots or schematics, but I can explain idea in few sentences, so you can get whole idea about this.

First we’ll ask: who can benefit from this service?
Well, everybody, especially:

Game owners

Game news site owners

Gamers

Let’s imagine for a second that YOU – reader, and I writter of this article are 2 game owners. I can say 100% positive that every game owner wants world to see his game. So do us two. So, we can exchange links, or banners and then it’s only 2 of us, marketing each other ingame. With, le’ts say, for example, 250×250 ad.
Good. We both exchange some traffic, and that’s it.

Then we register into game network. Registration is just mandatory part anyway since we need to have some recognition with service. Our sites must, that is.
In network, we submit few dimensions of our website’s banner using administration. Once approved, we can easily get invocation code (almost identical to adsense), and paste it on our site where 250×250 banner used to be., thus replacing old one with ad zone invocation script from ad network service.

Then we continue with what we do. Maintainting game, la la la. And after 24h each of us has made 20.000 adviews.
This 20.000 adviews WILL make each of us 20.000 credits on ad network. So, what with them?

Let’s say, there are and will be, hopefully, around 50 sites in network. All collecting credits from adviews. Those are other games, and news portals, gaming forums, gaming blogs, etc etc.

In end of the day, each of us can see in admin GUI of network that he has 20.000 credits collected, 20.000 adviews and 250 clicks.
You get it?

Each credit earns you free adview in any random site in network. It’s 1:1 ratio, and each network member uses network power to show ads to gamers and attract more players. Since all network is about gaming, its highly targeted traffic!!

Imagine all way it can help new webmasters to gain players quickly…
And best of all – absolutely free. I just love gaming, and browser gaming especially, and find this one nice gift I can return to community.

I’ve babbled enough for now, won’t talk about deadlines yet, but, one thing is sure: it will be done quite soon.
So, I’d like to hear what you site owners out there think about this?
